Associate Publisher, Echo Magazine in Phoenix
Bill has had three distinct “careers” giving him extensive leadership, operation, and management experience. Bill spent 21 years in airline operations and management and 3 years in airport parking management, 12+ years as a Realtor who marketed subdivisions for builders and was part of a team that built 4 subdivisions before the 2009 recession, and has spent the last 5 years running Echo Magazine for the Publisher that spends most of his time at his second home in Mexico (and he still sells about 3-4 homes a year for select clients).
Not content with just a “work” life, while in Phoenix he has served as a member of The City of Phoenix 2000 Fire Bond Committee, the City of Phoenix Estrella Village Planning Committee, was president of the Greater Phoenix LGBT Chamber of Commerce for four years, treasurer of a 106-unit condo building for 4 years, was Board Member/Operations VP at Phoenix Pride for 4 years and Operations Manager for both festivals for another 5 years.
Before Phoenix, Bill was the Secretary of the LAMTA Citizens Advisory Committee, Chairman of the Westchester/LAX Chamber of Commerce Transportation Committee, and Chairman Kennedy Airport Airline Management Council Cargo Committee at JFK Airport. Bill has received awards from Phoenix Pride, and The Greater Phoenix Chamber of Commerce, a Distinguished Service Award at JFK Airport, a Certificate of Appreciation from Phoenix Fire Department, a Northwest watch and thank you letter for his actions that saved an unmanned 747 Freighter from hitting a building at JFK, and “won” a 30 second run through-the-warehouse for his teams cost-cutting presentations at Continental Airlines.
